About Philemon Opolot

For a long time I knew I would speak words into the lives of people that would point them towards God. I nurtured the desire to reach out with a God-ordained message that would transform people’s lives for the better. To further this goal I enrolled at the River Bible Institute in South Africa in 2012. Though I was the top student in my class, I was suspended for breaching a school rule. This was so devastating I thought of quitting ministry altogether and pursuing a business-related career, since I possess a business degree.

It was then that I joined His Grace Tabernacle Church, where I currently serve in a leadership position. From there I got the platform to experience practical ministry. I was recalled to bible school, but chose not to go back, since I had been offered a full-time ministerial responsibility at my local church. This was a unique training ground and I loved it.

I thought I would experience a smooth flow in all areas of my life because I was serving God. Little did I know that I would have to deal with many challenges ─ morally, socially, financially and spiritually. I did not know that God would use lessons from my own ashes, failures and victories to birth forth a ministry in me. A ministry that would propel me to reach out to people struggling like I did. Through books, sermons, and a show that I am about to launch, I strive to enable them see what is really going on in their lives and to equip them, through the word of God, to experience the victory that Christ purchased for us on Calvary.

I am a husband to Nwabisa Opolot and we live in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
